Our Story Began with Outer Banks Real Estate

In 1968, Joe Lamb Jr. rented a small office on the beach in Nags Head and opened a real estate sales company. At the time, the Outer Banks was still a developing coastal community, with miles of open land and a future that was just beginning to take shape. Joe believed people would see the possibilities in owning a piece of this unique place. And they did!

Over nearly six decades, Joe Lamb Jr. & Associates has grown alongside the Outer Banks. What began with real estate sales and land development company eventually expanded to include vacation rentals and property management. Today, Joe Lamb Realty continues the work Joe started in 1968, backed by generations of local knowledge and a company that understands Outer Banks real estate from more than one perspective.
